meet anne

7.17.2012

It's about time I featured this girl on the blog. She visited a few weeks ago and I know she's just been sitting anxiously in front of the computer waiting for this post to go up since then. Well, maybe not quite to that extent.

We spent the first six years of our life growing up in the small, neighborly city of Boise, Idaho, no more than a few blocks away from each other. And even when I moved, some fifteen hundred miles away, our friendship never died. Letter after letter after letter, we've bonded more than I ever thought possible, and she's become more of a sister than a friend to me. So when she flew in for the week, last month, you can only imagine how psyched I was.

I can't even begin to describe the moments I have with this girl - but I can tell you that with her, I laugh until it hurts. I had the time of my life with Anne and seriously can't wait to see her again.

Love you Anne!

P.S. I'm working on some design changes around here - they should be ready in August!

  3. Aww, I LOVE this. I haven't been keeping up with your posts lately, so I just was scrolling through them to catch up....and I am in LOVE with your blog. seriously, though. You are such a fun photographer/writer/blogger. :) I love how you use fonts on all of your pictures, and how beautiful/light/fun/simple/gorgeous/wonderful your photographs are. And what do you use to edit your pictures? Whatever it is, you should do a tutorial because I really love how you edit them. :) Okay, that is all. :)

    1. Thanks Cindi, this means a lot to me! I edit my pictures with photoshop cs4 using a series of actions and curves that I've both created and found on the internet. I also shoot in RAW and edit in AdobeRAW before I move to photoshop. :)
