ReplyDeleteI had a question about camera lenses. I have a canon rebel XS, which I noticed you had for a long time. As you probably know it's not the greatest camera ever, but I'm looking into getting a new lens for it. Is the combination of the Rebel XS and the 50mm 1.8 lens a good combo or should I save up more and get the f 1.4?

I definitely recommend the 50mm 1.8! It is a great starter lens for the 50mm lens family, however, it is not top-notch. If you are looking into a "long-term relationship" with it, then I suggest investing in the 1.4 - definitely a higher quality lens. But, I did use to 1.8 for about 9 months before upgrading to the 1.4 and I thought it served me well for that long. :) Hope this helps!
